Mailing out holiday cards is something I absolutely love doing. I know some people get all stressed out about them, but it’s something that I just HAVE to do. Since I send photo cards, they’re my way of making sure everyone has a little piece of us. And I’ll admit, I like showing off our little family :). Last year, I sent both a family photo card and photo card of Greg and I. And I think we’re going to make it a tradition to keep doing that. I mean what married couple WITH children actually make an effort to do something like that? It’s important to celebrate each other even in the simple things.
So I’m shopping around for photo cards this year and Minted.com offered to provide us with this year’s holiday cards. I have browsed and shopped many a paper good site and I am super impressed with Minted’s fresh designs and the amount of fine elements I am able to customize. When ordering, I am able to choose from a selection of papers; signature, recycled, or pearlescent. I can choose the colors of the envelopes, even the inside liner design, and return address stamp. I can also choose from flat or folded cards.
So I have my eyes on these cards (1, 2, 3).
I love the Green Ribbon Design as a family card. And I love the Canvas Garland and Celebration cards below as couple cards. Since I can choose a folded card, I may choose to go with the Canvas Garland or Celebration cards with Greg and I on the front and family photos on the inside. We’ll see!
Just browsing Minted gives me chills. Their designers are really talented and have great tastes in typography. I cannot wait to place my order. When it arrives, I’ll be sure to update this post!
