If you’ve been following along on Sophistishe, you know that we’ve been sprucing up our backyard and making it our own. It’s always convenient to have amenities at home that would otherwise be public whether it’s a swing, pool, slide, or sandbox. To complete our backyard, Step2 sent over the Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center and it has been a hit! First, it was super easy to put together. No problems there. We just had to pop in the legs, and assemble the umbrella. Until we were able to get some sand, Jayden used the Sand & Water Center as a water table. I kind of regret adding the sand… He made such a mess in the sand, mixing it with the water! All in fun though. But I’m not so sure we’ll leave the sand in the table next year.
The Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center includes 2 bridges, 2 boats, 2 plant pots, and 1 shovel. As you can see in the photos above, Jayden added some of his toys to the mix! The umbrella serves as a great shield from the sun and the rain. Jayden does not like for water to touch his face or head, but he couldn’t resist playing in the sand on a rainy day!
I especially love the Sand & Water Center’s lid. It’s elastic ties secure it while keeping critters and harsh elements out. The lid also has a built in track/road that Jayden loves to put his trains on. I also love the natural colors of the Sand & Water Center. It blends in a little better with our backyard. We already have the Play Up Double Slide Climber, which is a pretty big and bright piece, so we wanted a natural looking sand and water table since it’s positioned in our sitting area.
The Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center is a great toy to keep the little ones entertained for hours – even if it means a few messes! And I just love it to bits because it’s so aesthetically pleasing to my eyes! Go get it!
