Like many people of today, we only have cellphone service. We see landline service as an added expense that we won’t use and while we are always connected to our cellphones, using them are less intrusive than having a landline. Imagine two or three phones ringing off the hook all day long (telemarketers and the like) disturbing the peace or waking up the little ones. Drives.me.nuts.
Using a cellphone as a primary source of phone communication can lead to many missed calls. There have been many cases where my phone would be upstairs and I’d be downstairs unable to hear it or unable to get to it in time and vice versa. But I was recently introtuced to a solution; VTech Connect to Cell handsets. VTech’s line of Connect to Cell handsets have all of the capabilities that regular cordless home phones would, only they connect to cellphones via Bluetooth. Having Connect to Cell handsets in our home have been convenient and I don’t have to worry about where I place my phone. We have one unit upstairs and another downstairs. I turned the volume down really low so they don’t bug us. Even if we’re busy or not feeling chatty, it’s still nice to know someone called and when we need to make a call, it’s convenient to have the option of using a handset.
